The origins of Nottingham Wildcats can be traced back to September 1976 at the Dayncourt School in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.    In the late 1970’s there were 2 national league women’s teams in Nottingham, the Dayncourt Wildcats and Nottingham.  Both had performed creditably in the 2nd division but individually lacked the resources and playing strength to …
