U16s and U14s win, Division 1side lose high scoring thriller to Sheffield.

Nottingham Wildcat U16s extended their winning streak to 3 games with a 104pts to 38 trouncing of Bromsgrove Bears and secure 2nd spot in the Midlands South West Conference.  Forward Anna Popovic hits career high 38pts.

The U14s are closing in on 2nd spot in their Conference with an 81pts to 31 victory against Bury Blue Devils.  Victory in their last game against Sheffield will ensure they finish 2nd.  Maya Hyacienth again top scored for the Cats with 27pts.

Unfortunately the Division 1 side could not make it a clean sweep for the Wildcats’ teams, as they went down by 98pts to 83 to a Sheffield Hatters side that are now almost certain to be crowned Champions.  The Cats led for much of the 1st two quarters but ran out of steam late on, despite a game high 38pts from Adrian Ritchie.
